The conceptual kernel of the proposed design was the combination of contemporary design orientation and historical character. Through this concept which aims to combine the contemporary orientation design with the distinctive historical character of the city, through a set of design principles that reflects the special character of Qena, as follows: The ancient Pharaonic history, The morphology of the city, The main spaces and the Nile anchors have Formed an axis towards the Dendera Temple.
